By creating an account, accessing, or using the QuickSale platform ("Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions ("Terms"). QuickSale is operated by Kaloo Technologies ("Company", "we", "our", "us"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Platform.
These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and the Company. By clicking "I agree" during registration or continued use of the Platform, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms.
QuickSale is a cloud-based Point of Sale (POS) platform that enables businesses to:
You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into binding contracts to use QuickSale. By registering, you represent that you meet these requirements.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials. You agree to:
You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to update your information as necessary. We reserve the right to suspend accounts with inaccurate or misleading information.
Upon registration, you may create one or more stores on the Platform. The first store you create grants you admin privileges. All stores are subject to these Terms and applicable subscription plans.
As a store admin, you may add cashiers who can process sales on your behalf. You are responsible for:
You retain ownership of your business data (products, orders, customer records). We do not claim ownership of your content. However, you grant us a licence to store, process, and display this data as necessary to provide the service.
New stores receive a 7-day free trial with full access to all features. No payment information is required during the trial period.
After the trial period, continued use requires an active subscription. Subscription plans and pricing are displayed on the Platform and may be updated from time to time with reasonable notice.
You may upgrade or downgrade your subscription plan at any time. Changes take effect at the next billing cycle unless otherwise specified.
The following fees apply to transactions processed through the Platform:
Store admins can configure whether the service fee is borne by the merchant (deducted from the received amount) or the customer (added to the payment amount). This setting can be changed in the wallet settings page.
We reserve the right to modify fee structures with at least 30 days' notice. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the new fees.
The wallet feature is optional and can be enabled during or after store registration. By enabling the wallet, you agree to additional wallet-specific terms:
Mobile money services are provided through our payment partners. We are not a bank or financial institution. We act as an intermediary to facilitate mobile money transactions on your behalf.
Successful mobile money collections are final and non-reversible through the Platform. Disputes must be resolved directly between the merchant and customer. QuickSale is not responsible for refunds or chargebacks.
Withdrawal limits may apply based on mobile money provider restrictions and regulatory requirements. We reserve the right to delay or refuse withdrawals if we suspect fraudulent activity.
Store admins can create payment links to receive payments remotely. Each payment link generates a unique URL and QR code that can be shared with customers.
You are responsible for ensuring payment links are shared with intended recipients only. QuickSale is not liable for payments made by unintended parties who access your payment links.
Payment links may have expiry dates. Expired links cannot be used to process payments.
You agree not to use QuickSale to:
Violation of these terms may result in immediate account suspension or termination.
The QuickSale name, logo, software, and all associated materials are the property of Kaloo Technologies and are protected by copyright and trademark laws. You may not:
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Kaloo Technologies, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the Platform, violation of these Terms, or infringement of any rights of a third party.
Your use of QuickSale is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. Please review our Privacy Policy to understand how we collect, use, and protect your personal information.
You may stop using QuickSale at any time. To request account deletion, contact us at support@kalootech.com.
We may suspend or terminate your account if:
Upon termination, your access to the Platform will cease. We will retain your data as described in our Privacy Policy. Any pending wallet balance will be disbursed to your designated mobile money account, minus applicable fees.
Before filing any formal claim, you agree to first contact us at support@kalootech.com to attempt to resolve the dispute informally. We will make reasonable efforts to resolve your concern within 30 days.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Zambia. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Zambia.
We shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performing our obligations due to events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, power outages, internet disruptions, mobile network failures, pandemics, government actions, or acts of God.
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via the Platform or email with at least 14 days' notice. Your continued use of QuickSale after the effective date of changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and any wallet-specific terms you accept, constitute the entire agreement between you and Kaloo Technologies regarding the use of QuickSale, superseding any prior agreements or understandings.
